Herdit joins the Industrial Decarbonization Program 2025

Herdit has been selected to participate in the 2025-EKO Industry Deskarbonizazio Program.

Herdit announces its participation in the 2025-EKO Industria Deskarbonizazio Program, an aid program promoted by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government, with the support of SPRI, which aims to promote decarbonization in industrial production facilities in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country.

This program, also known as the Industrial Decarbonization Program 2025, is designed to encourage investments that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from both energy consumption and production processes in industrial companies and their related services, helping to move towards a more environmentally friendly industry.

The call, which has a total allocation of 22 million euros for the 2025 fiscal year, offers non-refundable grants for projects that improve the level of environmental protection in existing or new production facilities, supporting investments that reduce CO₂ emissions and promote cleaner technologies.

Herdit's participation in this program reinforces its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, enabling it to make progress in reducing its carbon footprint and adapting to the challenges of the energy transition. This initiative is part of the Basque Government's broader Deskarboniza 2025 plan, which aims to improve competitiveness through the smart decarbonization of Basque industry, combining aid, energy efficiency and clean technologies.

Thanks to programs such as this one, Basque industry is moving towards a production model with lower GHG emissions and greater resilience in the face of environmental challenges, positioning its participants as leaders in industrial sustainability.
