Discover our specialized metal treatment processes

Laser Cutting

At Herdit we offer high precision laser cutting services for steel, stainless steel and aluminum, using state-of-the-art machines that guarantee accurate and repeatable results. We can work with sheets up to 3000 × 1500 mm, with a maximum tolerance of ±0.1 mm, ensuring clean and perfectly defined cuts.

The maximum thicknesses we handle vary according to the material: 25 mm for steel, 20 mm for stainless steel and 15 mm for aluminum, allowing us to adapt to different industrial needs. Thanks to our advanced technology, we offer precise cuts that facilitate subsequent bending, welding or assembly processes, optimizing efficiency and quality in each project.

Laser Tube Cutting

We have advanced technology for laser tube cutting, capable of working steel, stainless steel and aluminum with great precision. We can cut tubes up to 160 mm diameter, with a tolerance of ±0.1 mm, resulting in a uniform and accurate finish.

This process helps us manufacture complex tubular components, ready for assembly or further processing, while maintaining the quality and reliability required by the most demanding industries. The precision of our machines ensures efficiency and repeatability in each part, optimizing production times and minimizing waste.

Punching

We offer high precision punching services for steel, stainless steel and aluminum, ideal for the manufacture of parts with specific perforations and shapes. We can work with materials up to 4000 × 1500 mm, with a maximum tolerance of ±0.3 mm.

The thicknesses we handle are 5 mm for steel, 3 mm for stainless steel and 5 mm for aluminum, allowing us to adapt to different design and functionality requirements. This process guarantees speed, accuracy and consistency in each piece, facilitating subsequent assembly and finishing.

Bending

We have advanced bending capabilities to manufacture metal parts with precision and versatility, adapting to complex and varied designs. We can work with lengths up to 4000 mm, by making folds of 0 to 180 degrees according to the needs of the project.

Our presses allow the application of a maximum pressure of 170 tons, ensuring clean cuts and accurate bends without compromising the integrity of the material. his process is key to obtaining structural and functional components ready for assembly or further treatment, guaranteeing precision, strength, and a high-quality finish.

Manual Welding

Manual welding is one of the key processes at Herdit, together with robotic welding, and constitutes a pillar of our production capacity. We have MIG, MAG and TIG machines, operated by approved personnel, working in sections separated by materialfor steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

For large parts we have specialized areas with 8-ton and 5-ton cranes and rotating supports that facilitate the handling and safe positioning of components. Our activity is supported by certifications such as EN 15085-CL1 for the railway sector, ISO 3834-2 and rigorous quality control through visual inspection, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing.

Continuous investment in technology, certifications and approvals guarantee precise, reliable welds that comply with the most demanding standards in each industry.

Robotized Welding

We have various welding robots, capable of working with steel, stainless steel and aluminum, although their versatility allows them to be used interchangeably on any material depending on the needs of the project. This system provides greater efficiency, replicability and quality, ensuring uniform and accurate welds on every part.

The continuous investment in welding robots allows us to address both long series and projects of high technical complexity. This reflects our commitment to expand our production capacity and improve the quality of our products, maintaining the highest standards and optimizing manufacturing times to meet the demands of the most competitive sectors.

Liquid Paint

We have a specialized area for liquid paint, equipped with booths designed to cover the entire process: shot blasting, sanding, liquid paint application and curing oven. The cabins have dimensions of 4.6 m wide × 6.5 m deep × 5 m high, designed to work with large parts in an efficient and safe way.

We have specific approvals and permits to paint special components, such as train skirts, guaranteeing high quality finishes, durability and compliance with railway sector regulations. This process ensures optimum protection of the material and a uniform finish in each project.

Powder Coating

We have a complete powder coating process, which includes preparation booth to clean and protect materials against corrosion (up to C5 level), powder coating booth and curing oven.

All cabins are equipped with crane systems, ensuring that parts of different sizes can be handled safely and efficiently. This process guarantees durable, uniform and corrosion-resistant finishes, that are able to comply with the needs of demanding industrial sectors and large components.

Industrial Bonding

Our process of industrial adhesive coating is performed in a special contamination-free cabin, designed to precisely control the humidity and temperature during adhesive application. This environment ensures that the joints are safe, durable and conform to the highest industry standards.

We have certifications that guarantee our capacity: ISO 17460-A1 for the railway sector and ISO 21368-S2, which certifies the quality and safety of our structural adhesive bonds, in addition to several individual certificates like EAB and EAS for our personnel. Thanks to this infrastructure and approvals, we can apply adhesives accurately and reliably on critical parts for different industrial sectors.

Complementary Machinery

We have lathe, saws, chamfering machines, machining center and other auxiliary machines that allow us to complete all the necessary processes for the treatment of metal parts within our facilities. This equipment ensures that we can manufacture and prepare the parts entirely in-houseminimizing dependence on third parties and ensuring total control over the quality, deadlines, and efficiency of each project.
